L'Atelier Plume – Handmade jewelry and clothing made between India and France

I am Claire, the creator of L'Atelier Plume, a brand of fine gold-plated jewelry, bohemian clothing and accessories inspired by faraway places, conceived somewhere between Nantes and Pondicherry.

Since 2015, I have been designing pieces that reflect who I am: sunny, sensitive, sometimes a little raw, but always meaningful. Each piece of jewelry, each garment is handmade in India, in artisan workshops with whom I work directly — between Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and sometimes Gujarat.

My aim is to create fashion on a human scale, which respects gestures, know-how, rhythms… and people.

At L'Atelier Plume, there's no mass production, no trends to follow. Just lucky charms to keep for a long time, handwoven fabrics, natural stones chosen one by one, and lots (lots) of love put into every detail.

You will find talisman bracelets, set rings, khadi cotton kimonos, raw chambray shirts, dresses from elsewhere… Simple but precious pieces, to wear every day or to offer as a small fragment of soul.
